Laura Harring, actress, is from Sinaloa, Mexico. She is also the former Miss USA from 1985 and the first Hispanic to win the crown. Her father is German and she grew up in Switzerland. She wore one million dollar shoes and $25 million in jewelry to the 2002 Oscars.
